About

A studio, not a consultancy

Journeywright Studio makes working instruments for people who do customer journey and experience work.

Most journey mapping material falls into two categories. There are books that explain the theory and never give you a file. And there are consultancies that will do it for you, once, for a fee that assumes you will need them again next year.

This is the third thing: the artifacts themselves. Templates that open, questions that have been asked before, models with the logic exposed so you can argue with it.

The name comes from the old trade suffix — shipwright, wheelwright, playwright. A wright is someone who makes a thing. The mark is a try square, which is the tool you use to check that a corner is true.
